Gardenias are prized for their intensely fragrant white flowers and glossy, deep green foliage. Available in large-flowered (Magnifica), trailing (Radicans), and standard (Florida) forms, they suit feature planting, hedging, and container applications in warm to subtropical climates.
Specifier notes. Specified across commercial hedging projects from boundary screens to formal clipped lines. Holds its own as a standalone feature where form and presence matter more than mass.
Site & establishment. Subtropical performer — best growth in warm, humid summers with regular rainfall.
